About the Role
As the Field Service Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of supporting the client’s mission to provide reliable laboratory solutions. You will manage day-to-day field service activities, coordinate with internal teams, and lead a team of technicians to ensure timely, accurate, and safe service delivery.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a background in technical or medical equipment, committed to fostering continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in field service or operations management, preferably in medical, biomedical, or technical equipment sectors
- Strong leadership and team supervision abilities
- Excellent organizational and logistical planning skills
- Proficiency with field service management tools and software; NetSuite experience is a big plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across teams and with clients
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment (preferred)
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP platforms, especially NetSuite
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards such as OSHA
- Experience in process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience managing field service teams in a lab, healthcare, or technical field
