Are you a seasoned mechanical engineer with a passion for leadership and a proven track record in the oil & gas, midstream, or EPC sectors? AllTek Staffing is partnering with a forward-thinking energy services company to identify a talented Mechanical Engineering Manager who will lead, develop, and inspire a high-performance mechanical engineering division. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape engineering processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and oversee complex projects from concept through execution—all while collaborating with senior leadership dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- Minimum of 8 years’ mechanical engineering experience in oil & gas, midstream, or EPC environments
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.8, B31.3, and related standards (API, ASTM)
- Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and supporting large-scale projects
- Proficiency with stress analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II) and mechanical design software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to develop scalable processes, standards, and training frameworks
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supporting EPC projects from FEED through IFC stages
- Familiarity with constructability reviews and field integration
- Knowledge of vendor management and client interface strategies
- Cross-disciplinary familiarity with electrical and civil engineering domains
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s degree highly regarded
- At least 8 years of progressive mechanical engineering leadership experience
- Prior experience in energy infrastructure projects, particularly gas transmission/distribution and process piping
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to collaborate across teams, including construction and discipline leads
- Ability to oversee compliance with industry codes and standards
- Commitment to mentorship and the professional growth of engineering staff
- Willingness to travel or perform site visits as needed
