Location: Leetsdale, PA
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour
TOPS Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Leetsdale, PA looking to add a welder to its fabrication team. This is a great opportunity for entry-level or early-career welders looking for structured training, guaranteed pay progression, and long-term career growth in a production manufacturing environment.
Training & Shift Schedule
- Training Period: Daylight shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (approximately 1–3 months)
- After Training: Transition to a steady off-shift
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, or
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Shift assignment after training is based on business needs and performance
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and robotic welders
- Perform TIG welding, hand brazing, and occasional stick welding
- Weld aluminum and other metals using fixtures and jigs
- Assist with robotic welding operation and basic programming
- Read and follow welding specifications, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support production needs, including overtime as required
- Guaranteed pay increases every 3 months during your first year after 12 month will be at $23.40per hour + shift diff ($1.00 for 2nd and $1.50 for 3rd shift)

- Ability to read and interpret welding specifications or drawings
- At least 6 months of welding experience preferred (manufacturing or industrial setting)
- Willingness to work afternoon or night shift after training
- Ability to pass respirator fit testing and follow safety procedures
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus (training available if needed)
- Welding certifications or technical school training
- Experience in a production or industrial manufacturing environment
- Exposure to robotic welding systems
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience
