Position: Woodshop Machine Operator

What You'll Do:
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery including saws, planers, routers, sanders, and CNC equipment to produce precise wood components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood materials to exact specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment to maintain peak performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as required in daily operations.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and finishing wood components.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

Maintenance Technician - Trainee Level
We are searching for candidates that have a strong mechanical aptitude and some very basic electrical knowledge. If you know your way around a tool box and have experience doing things like handyman work, automotive or motorcycle repairs, or small engine rebuilds, we encourage you to apply.

Job Details:
Contract to hire position
Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule – Could be some weekend overtime as needed basis.
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate = $16.00hr to start - Raises based on performance are available.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with trouble shooting of equipment breakdowns
- Help in performing necessary repairs on any equipment breakdowns
- Help with facility maintenance as necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance of production equipment.
- Use of hand tools and power tools to perform repair tasks.
- Help perform basic electrical repairs as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Hand and power tool knowledge is required
- Experience with blueprint reading is preferred – willing to train
- Any trouble shooting experience – Cars, bikes, motor cycles, home appliances, home repairs is preferred.
- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred willing to provide training
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, bending, crawling, climbing to perform work
- Lifting on a as needed basis
- Good eyesight and hearing to help with machine diagnostics
- Ability to learn new skills is a must! We are willing to provide on the job training but need somebody who is going to be reliable and receptive to what they are being taught in this position.
