TOPS Staffing is hiring experienced Welders for a direct hire opportunity with a long-standing manufacturing company specializing in large industrial tanks, pressure vessels, and boiler-related fabrication.

Daylight Shift
Monday-Friday
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Afternoon Shift
Monday-Friday
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Starting Pay: $25.60/hr

Candidates selected for afternoon shift will complete an initial training period on daylight shift before transitioning to their permanent schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform MIG, Stick and SAW welding on large steel tanks, pressure vessels, and fabricated components
  • Weld both interior and exterior vessel surfaces
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
  • Prepare materials by grinding, fitting, and cleaning weld areas
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Complete production documentation and quality records
  • Train into Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) as production needs require
  • Follow all safety procedures and confined-space requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous MIG and Stick welding experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
  • Experience in heavy fabrication, tank, vessel, or structural welding is preferred
  • Comfortable working inside tanks and confined work areas when required
  • Reliable attendance and strong commitment to quality and safety
  • SAW experience is a plus, but training is available

The company offers a strong training program designed to develop employees with entry to intermediate skill levels. Employees receive scheduled raises every three months during their first year as they learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
